Description
The wine is of a medium-deep golden yellow colour and the floral notes are emphasized, especially when we are talking about the usually discreet Rebula. Spontaneous maceration lasts 4 days and then follows maturation on fine lees for seventeen months in used and new barriques and 500-litre barrels. The result is it smells slightly of butter, dried flowers, lemon, with a hint of pine needles. A very good ripe mineral and full-bodied Rebula, soft to the touch, inviting, dry, slightly tart, with a hint of graphite making it ideal to drink with lamb, grilled fish and steak.
